Depression is a whole body illness, involving your body, moods and thoughts, it effects the way you eat, sleep and the way you feel about yourself. Symptoms of depression vary from person to person and it affects our physical health and mental health.

Women are more likely to suffer from depression than men. The reason being, they go through hormonal changes. They suffer depression in every stage of life, starting from adolescence, adulthood, menstrual cycles, post pregnancy, postpartum and menopause.

Symptoms can vary from sadness; lose of interest in activities, change in sleep patterns, fatigue, and increase in appetite.

To avoid Depression:

1. Try not to isolate yourself from loved ones.

4. Talk therapy with a mental health professional helps to treat depression effectively.

Depression in Cancer patients can easily affect their health and if left untreated can shorten their life.

Overcoming depression by finding happiness in our life will make our health healthy.
